Dalston Solidarity Cafe

Elements of this Project:
  • Illustrated Poster Design
  • Alternative Illustrated Infoshop Design
I worked with the Mutual Aid Network “Dalston Solidarity Cafe” on a poster design featuring an isometric illustration to promote their 1 Year and 1 Month anniversary Event. Dalston Solidarity Cafe is a space to connect a diversity of collectives, realities and individuals who by sharing their knowledge and experience will be able to offer a range of mutualistic practices that help the community to improve their condition and happiness beyond the “Survival Mode” today’s society dictates we exist in. It was a pleasure to work with Dalston Solidarity cafe, in the design I have tried to represent the notion of “community” by features a wide range of characters and stories, alongside depicting some of the everyday activities and services that DSL partake in such as cooking, creating materials for their Infoshop, playing board games etc.
I also re-worked this design into an image that has been printed and used as a part of Dalston Solidarity Cafe’s Infoshop.
